Main responsibilities 

  • Trade finance-related activities (Payable and receivable management) 
  • General accounting related to customer invoices linked to receivable management. 
  • Assist in the monthly closing process and financial reporting. 
  • Preparing management accounting reports, e.g., Customer and product profitability follow-up, material cost report, inventory reporting, and other ad hoc reports for sales & management.  
  • Ensure correct product costing & update resource cost twice a year. 
  • Work closely with Financial Controller and CFO to develop financial processes and tools. 

We value your interest in developing our accounting operations. As a controller, you will participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. You will be involved in preparing the financial reports for our operation in Finland and our branches overseas. You will acquire good knowledge of most of the accounting operations in an SME.  

To succeed in this position, you should have an education in accounting or finance. We wish that you have good knowledge of the financial reporting framework and FAS standards. You are an advanced Excel user, and you have basic communication skills in English. Fluency in one of the official languages of Finland either Swedish or Finnish is a must, both verbally and written. We appreciate some experience in the field of accounting. We offer hybrid work arrangements, but the position requires that you work onsite in our headoffice in Sandsund for 2-3 days/week.
