HERRMANS ORGANIZING FOR THE NEXT DECADE

Herrmans Ltd’s two business units, the Bike Component unit and the Work Light unit, became two separate sister companies from the beginning of year 2020 (Herrmans Bike Components Ltd and Nordic Lights Ltd)

Herrmans Bike Components Ltd have a focus on the European market and to develop and grow the existing business in various ways. To support this development, a restructuring of organizational structure has been implemented to meet the future.

Dan Liljeqvist that joined the company last year, is appointed as CEO. Dan has a solid experience from various Leadership assignments within industrial environment and listed global corporations but also within family/private-owned business and start-up companies.

From the beginning of March Sofia Mattila will join the company as Sales & Marketing Director. Sofia is specialized in sales and marketing strategy, global brand development and has experience from different leadership roles within B2B companies.

Thorsten Krueger with very long experience within the bike business as well as within the company is appointed Sales Manager Europe and will be responsible for Europe, including the Agents and Key Accounts.

Our Area Sales Manager for East Europe, Tero Suominen, is now also responsible for the Scandinavian market. Rudy Rouxel, Herrmans French agent since many years, is now also be responsible for Spain.

R&D Department has strengthened their forces with Johnny Vidjeskog as a Design Engineer in Electric & Optics. He has broad experience from engineering, electronics and optics and will be a good asset to the bike light development team.

Thomas Finnäs has been appointed Chief Technical Engineer within grips and materials. His expertise will be crucial in a rapid moving world to find better solutions within materials, 3D printing and environmentally friendly options. He also supports the marketing activities within areas such as graphic design.
