Herrmans Grip News 2026

New Designs, Softer Feel and More Choice

For 2026, Herrmans is introducing new and updated grips that bring together ergonomic comfort, material development and fresh design details across the range.

The updates include the new Nucore Era, the refreshed Line II, the new Atelier Series, and the real-life implementation of the softer material update for Nucore Trail and Nucore Tour. Together, these additions continue our work to develop grips that feel good in the hand, support everyday riding comfort and offer bike brands more choice in both function and expression.

Nucore Era: a new design generation

Nucore Era introduces a new design generation within the Nucore grip family. Developed with a clear focus on hand ergonomics, material feel and contemporary form, it brings together comfort and visual precision in a well-balanced design.

The grip features a 3D hexagon surface pattern and two distinct textures for grip and control. Its modern ergonomic wing shape supports a natural hand position, while the integrated lock clamp design transitions smoothly into the grip silhouette for a clean and confident overall appearance.

Nucore Era is a lockable ergonomic wing grip with an ergonomically shaped plastic locking clamp, integrated thread insert and separate end plug. It is manufactured using responsibly selected raw materials, including virgin, recycled and biobased materials.

Samples will be available from end of Q2 2026, with production planned to start at the beginning of Q3 2026.

Line II: refined design, familiar fit

Line II is a renewed and refreshed version of our bestselling Grip Line.

The well-known ergonomic shape remains, but the grip has been updated with a renewed surface pattern, improved end plug fit and a softer feel. Right and left versions are available, with an optimized ergonomic fit for the palm and wrist.

Thanks to the locking clamp, Line II is easy to adjust to different riding positions, making it a practical update to a trusted Herrmans favourite. It is made for riders and bike brands looking for familiar comfort, improved details and a refreshed appearance.

Availability: end of June 2026.

Atelier Series: comfort with character

The new Atelier Series brings a different kind of expression to the Herrmans grip range.

Made with natural cork, Atelier grips combine ergonomic comfort with 12 distinctive colours and artistic patterns. The material feels soft and pleasant in the hand, with a breathable surface that stays comfortable over time without becoming sticky.

Atelier Series is created for bikes where the grip is not only a contact point, but also part of the overall look and character. It offers a natural feel, individual style and everyday riding comfort in one carefully considered grip concept.

Available starting from end of 2026.

Softer Nucore material moving into real use

The softer Nucore material was first introduced at Eurobike, and is now moving from launch concept into real-life implementation for Nucore Trail and Nucore Tour.

Nucore Trail remains the choice for winding paths, tracks and active riding, while Nucore Tour offers a supportive mini-wing shape for longer rides or for riders who prefer added hand support. With the softer material update, both models offer an improved touch and comfort experience while keeping the familiar Nucore construction and ergonomic focus.

This step strengthens the role of Nucore as a grip series that combines practical riding comfort with ongoing material development.

Grip development with purpose

The 2026 grip news reflects the way Herrmans develops bicycle components: by improving proven products, exploring better material choices and creating new options for different riders, bikes and markets.

From the new design generation of Nucore Era to the refreshed Line II, the natural character of Atelier Series and the real-world implementation of softer Nucore Trail and Tour grips, the updates continue our focus on future-proofed bike components made for real use and everyday riding.
